We have a keen energised focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across the main investment sectors of Energy , Transportation and Logistics and Knowledge Based Industries. We also have unique strategic partnerships with some of the key players and government institutions in the Gulf Co-operation Council. We assist in Market Entry, JV creation and  those who wish to set up 100 % foreign owned entities in the Kingdom.

Ahmed Samir Islam


Prior to establishing Altair Advisory Inc., Ahmed was the Head of the Americas for the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (S.A.G.I.A) based in Riyadh, and Toronto. In this demanding and challenging role he was responsible for facilitating Foreign Direct Investment from North , Central and South America into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


With a Trillion Dollars worth of investment opportunities in the region by 2020 he expects there to be quite a few more who wish to navigate the intricate trade & political waterways of the Kingdom.


He has held a number of high exposure roles in his 19 year professional career. Spanning from blue chips like Unilever and Inter-Continental Hotels to government Institutions like S.A.G.I.A to non-profits he founded like the Canada Saudi Business Council. Ahmed has represented his country at the highest executive level and has had a stellar career record prior to establishing Altair Advisory.


Despite matriculating into Medical University at 15 years of age in Saudi Arabia , Ahmed decided to pursue a business education and graduated in International Business from Richmond University in England in 1998. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children since 2004 and travels to the G.C.C often .


His network of UHNW contacts and extensive travels have taken him across the Americas where he has personally engaged with past Prime Ministers, Ambassadors, Fortune 500 CEOs and senior government and trade personnel across the region.  


Ahmed has completed all the requirements of his EMBA from the Ivey Business School and will be conferred this June.


The Canada Saudi Business Council and has taken down a delegtaion of 70 companies in 2016 and received many delegations from Saudi since. He has also brought in Aramco offcially to Canada for the first time in 2018 to Calgary , Alberta.
